A Satsuma Pottery Vase, Meiji Period, of tapered, hexagonal section resting on a splayed foot and rising to a waisted, cylindrical neck, decorated in overglaze enamels on a mazarin blue ground with panels of chrysanthemum and prunus on one side, the reverse with bamboo and chrysanthemum, extensive gilt decoration to the blue ground, gilt signature to base, 30.6cm high.
