A Selection of 20th Century Face Screens or Fixed Fans, generally Chinese, the first a double-sided example with brightly coloured butterflies to the recto and a bird on the verso. Together with five others, one embroidered each side with a lily and delicate flowers, the design complemented by the shaped screen; the others with birds, butterfly and/or floral decoration, one exception having a waterside scene with figures manoeuvring a junk around a rocky outcrop (6)
