A Service Tunic for a Hauptscharführer of Standarte 1 "München"Tailored, lightweight black tricot wool, four-button front, open-collar with black/aluminum twist cord piping, French cuffs, scalloped and pleated breast pockets, scalloped flap hip pockets, silver pebbled buttons, two belt-ramp buttons at rear vent. Red wool armband with black ribbed rayon tape borders, hand-applied. Cuff title of black band with 6-thread green borders, Sturm number "2" and honor title "Casella" machine-embroidered in silver-grey thread, hand-applied. 1934 pattern single shoulder board of alternating black/aluminum twist cord on black wool backing, hand-applied and retained with silver pebbled button. Right regimental collar tab with Standarte "1" machine-embroidered in silver-grey thread on black backing with black/aluminum twist cord piping. Left rank tab with two aluminum pips, below a single strip of silver-aluminum litze with black centre stripe, black cloth backing with piping in black/aluminum twist cord, both tabs hand-applied. Right sleeve with Honor Chevron of silver-aluminum tresse with two inner black stripes on triangular black backing, hand-applied. Loops for two awards on left breast pocket. Lined in black rayon with striped sleeve linings, two inside breast pockets. Hole at back of right cuff, small snags and abrasions on right front panel, insect damage and loose threads on armband.
