A Set of Alfred Meakin Royal Ironstone China Tea Leaf Pattern Plates

A set of English ironstone earthenware plates featuring a central transfer-printed motif and a matching banded rim. The central decoration depicts a small three-leaf sprig in a copper or brown tone, identified as the Tea Leaf pattern. Each plate features a single circular band of the same color around the rim. The base of the plates features a printed black mark consisting of a semi-circle reading ROYAL IRONSTONE CHINA above a crest with a lion and unicorn supporting a shield topped with a crown. Below the crest, the mark reads ALFRED MEAKIN. ENGLAND.
