* A Set of Four Chinese Zitan Veneer Hardwood Display Cabinets

cabinet: 20th century; carved panels: 19th century
each of rectangular form, the top section carved to the front depicting flying bats enclosing shou characters amidst clouds, a single glass inset door opening to three glass shelves, the lower section with a two-door cabinet, each door carved with kuilongs above winged bats suspending ribbon-tied chimes enclosed by foliate scrolls, all supported on square legs joined by shaped aprons decorated with bats and ruyi heads.
Height 85 x width 32 1/4 x depth 15 inches.

Property sold to benefit the fund of Heritage Museum of Asian Art, Chicago, Illinois

Each cabinet in overall good and stable condition with no major damages or restoration. Having some surface scratches and light use of ware. One age split to one bottom shelf.
