A Sevres Urn and Pedestal, 19thc.

The vase of baluster form, in cobalt blue decorated with a rustic couple engaged in a dance, signed L.Bertrend, the obverse with a scenic landscape of a bridge on a river, with gilt scroll embellishment, raised on an onyx, gilt bronze and porcelain pedestal decorated with Venus and Cupid, the obverse with an expansive landscape and waterfall, reserved on cobalt blue with gilded musical trophy and scroll forms. 68 in total ht. 26.5 in. h. of vase alone. Condition: Vase lacking cover. UPDATED CONDITION REPORT: we've taken the vase apart from the mounts and added additional images and found a small chip under one metal mounting and a small flake to the bottom edge of the base which is visible however we did not notice it during photography. One metal ring is stamped "M" underneath.
