Of squat shape with a horizontally ridged wall painted in iron black with chrysanthemum, leaf, tendril and grasses, on a small ring foot surrounding a recessed base centered with a tiny incised katakana syllable Ro. Silk shifuku. Tomobako, the inscription on the lid reading Shino chawan and the katakana syllable Ro (= Kitaô Rosanjin, 1883-1959).
