A Silver-Gilt Mounted and 'Gem'-Set Glass Scent-Bottle, With Indistinct Mark, Probably Central European, Further Marked with French Import Mark, Late 19th Century, the tapering clear glass body with cast openwork foliage scroll mounts, populated by figures and set with vari-coloured 'gems', with hinged cover, 15cm high

. Marked near rim with indistinct mark S?. The rim and the lower mount further marked with French insect import marks. There is some surface scratching and wear. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the gilding. There are some chips to the glass body. With silver-gilt stopper.
