Each piece fully marked underneath. Most pieces further stamped with maker's name. Further part marked under lamp and on lamp cover, on finials, inside covers and on teapot handle. There is some wear to the marks, particularly under the coffee-pot, though in general the marks are still clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is worse on some pieces than on other, particular the teapot and cream where the engraving and decoration is noticeable softened. Some piece with bruises. There is some cracking and discolouration to the ivory handle and insulators, though each is clearly from the 19th century.
