A Small-sword with Silver-inlaid Hilt
Double-edged, straight blade, lenticular in cross-section, with central point. The blade is etched on both sides with figural decorations and with the Latin legend (Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos etc.), partly rubbed and stained. Iron knuckle-bow hilt with profuse silver inlays. A double shell-guards with floral designs. Silver floral design inlays on grip, and spherical pommel. Flemish or France, circa 1680, length 85 cm.
