Cal. .577Snider, SN. 01195 , barrel length 30½“ (77.7 cm), the bore a bit frosted, with five lands and grooves. Ladder rear sight graduated 5 to 10. The lockplate marked crown/”V.R. - N.A & A. Co.Ld / 1879", the breech end of the barrel “N 80Z / III / 101195”. Various inspector's marks “WD” with broad arrow. Walnut stock with both sling swivels. Stock broken at the wrist, with splintering on the left side. One mounting screw missing from the trigger guard. Iron cleaning rod. Length 124 cm.
