A South German late gothic hand-and-a-half sword, circa 1490/1500Sturdy, double-edged blade, the forte with triple fuller on both sides. Brass inlaid triangular mark (the all-seeing eye) with two crosses on one side. Flat, S-curved quillons. Original, two-stage grip with well-preserved leather binding over cord. Robust, flat disc pommel with flat, rectangular tang button. Metal surfaces heavily cleaned, partially pitted. Length 128.5 cm.Condition: II - III
