Oil on softwood. Depiction of a middle-aged man kneeling in adoration before the crucifix. In finely pleated, white clerical robes, a sumptuous fur roquelaure thrown over his shoulders. On a red and white tiled floor with correct perspective, a ruffled green curtain on the right. The top inscribed "Georg Liebhart de Rauchlessperg MDCXIV". The back of the picture panel with worming in places. In a grooved, moulded frame of later date. Dimensions 53 x 55 cm, including frame 65 x 67 cm.
