After the model by Sofiya Borisovna Velikhova (nee Basakova, 1904-1994) and painted by Elizaveta Nikolaevna Lupanova (1911-1973) depicting two "Nakhimovtsy" engaged in study; marked to underside '9' in blue, '14' in green, and '187' in black overglaze, with partially obscured mark in dark blue.
