A Spanish Historicist 18k gold and rose-cut diamond demiparure in its original case.
Three-piece set, consisting of a bangle, pendant brooch and pair of earrings in a Historicist style. Oval hinged bangle, the pierced upper section with dense scrolls and an applied openwork centre clasp, set with small flat rose-cut diamonds and three large foil-set diamonds in a Dutch rose cut (round centre stone ca. 8.15 x 8 mm). The earrings with bail and two-part pendants set with rose-cut diamonds and two large, round, foiled diamonds in a Dutch rose cut (largest stone diameter ca. 8.53 mm). Pendant brooch with meander surround accentuated with floral relief, set with small rose-cut diamonds and three large round foiled diamonds in Dutch rose cut (centre stone 7.90 x 7.66 mm), detachable pendant bail. Not hallmarked. Originally a four-part set, the ring missing. Hoop diameter 4.5 x 5.5 cm. Brooch H 7.5 cm. Earrings H 4.5 cm. Total weight 80.95 g. In the original fitted case marked "Sunol (?) Barcelona".
