A Sri Lankan sapphire and diamond dress ring. The oval-shape sapphire, set atop a pave-set diamond, geometric raised surmount. Verbal from GCS stating Sri Lanka, no heat, estimated sapphire weight 7cts. Estimated total diamond weight 1 to 1.30cts. Ring size L. Weight 14.7gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Sapphire slightly loose in setting.
Diamonds well matched and bright.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Sapphire is a medium slightly violetish blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions, some of which are eye visible.

Sapphire in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
