A Staffordshire blue and white transfer decorated oval supper set in mahogany tray

Comprising four covered serving dishes around a central small tureen, fitted with a removeable tray containing four egg cups and a divided salt and pepper.

Condition Report: Crazing throughout and some glaze slips. Light wear from use. One lid restored. One lid with two patches of staining to interior rim. One dish with restored corner, and chip to another corner. One dish with pinprick dimples to glaze at underside and small loss at stilt mark. Tureen lid with hairline at rim (approximately 1 1/2in in length). Tureen with small firing crack at interior flange. One egg cup with some chips to rim and staining in the corresponding area, also with staining to that cup's foot. The tureen divider plate with small loss at stilt mark and some patches of staining to the underside. The tray with dings, dents, scattered abrasions and small losses, some shrinkage along interior edge.
