Hamon [tempering pattern]: Notari-midare, details obscured
Boshi [tip]: Indistinct, possible o-maru
Nakago [tang]: Ubu with one mekugi-ana, ha-agari, kuri-jiri signed Morimitsu
Habaki [collar]: Copper
Koshirae [mount]: In black striped saya on a red ground, silver tsuba
Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 27.2 cm., 11 in.
Saki-haba [width at the yokote]: 2 cm., 3/4 in.
Moto-haba [width at the machi]: 1.1 cm., 1/2 in.

Sugata [configuration]: Hirazukuri, iroi-mune and chu-kisaki, koshi-hi
Kitae [forging pattern]: Hame-gokoro, some kizu
Hamon [tempering pattern]: Gunome-medari in nioi, occasional togari
Boshi [tip]: Ko-medari with kaire
Nakago [tang]: Ubu with one mekugi-ana, ha-agari, kuri-jiri, mumei
Habaki [collar]: Copper
Koshirae [mount]: Mounted as an aikuchi tanto in ribbed green aogai seya, tsuka with black ito
Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 33.3 cm., 131/8 in.
Saki-haba [width at the yokote]: 2 cm., 3/4 in.
Moto-haba [width at the machi]: 2.9 cm., 11/8 in.

Condition Report:
- The first, the koshirae is in fair condition. The blade is scratched with some old restorationand obscured.
- Kozuka lacking.

-The second, the blade is rubbed and some kizu.
- Koshirae with minor chips around the kozuka fitting.
