A TIBETAN THANGKA 19TH CENTURY Painted to the centre with Vaishravana seated upon a recumbent snow lion with its mouth agape, the God of Wealth and Guardian of the North depicted holding a rat and a tall canopy, with Buddhas, bodhisattvas and further deities surrounding the central figure, framed and glazed, 61cm x 42cm excluding frame. Provenance: from an English private collection, acquired in Somerset in the 1950s.
