A Tabriz hadjijalili carpet, the burnt orange field centred by a floral decorated medallion and cornered by conforming spandrels, within borders decorated with flowerheads and boteh, approximately 372 x 274cm
Condition Report:
Wear to pile overall revealing underlying weft and pale knot heads in places. Various small old repairs (see images). Fringing with wear and losses. This encroaches into the guard stripe slightly at each end. Binding of longest edges are untidy with wear, sections of loss and sections re-bound. Some fading and surface dirt.
