A Tibetan partially gilt copper ewer and cover (duomuhu). 19th century
The cylindrical body is decorated with gilt foliate strapwok bands and gilt medallions inset with hard-stones, with a gilt dragon-form handle and a spout emerging from a gilt mythical-beast head, the cover with a lotus-bud finial is surrounded by a tall wristband with gilt foliate pattern.
