A Tibetan patinated and gilt bronze figure group of Tara with acolytes.Tara stands in the centre holding lotus stems with lotuses flanking her shoulders. She is dressed in pleated dhoti and richly adorned with jewellery. The group stands on a half lotus and pierced and elaborated foliage base, surrounded by a fragmented lotus flower mandorla. Back of mandorla with Tibetan inscription with part of a dedication. Sealed bottom. 16th-17th century. Weight 814 g. H. 15 cm.
