A Tiffany & Co. Cut Crystal Commemorative Paperweight, 1985
A clear cut crystal commemorative paperweight by Tiffany & Co., dated 1985. Formed in the manner of an emerald-cut gemstone, the rectangular block features step-cut beveled edges surrounding a flat polished face. The reverse is etched with the architectural logo of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel, inscribed “ATLANTA Marriott MARQUIS” and dated “August 22, 1985”. Bearing the etched maker's mark “TIFFANY & CO.” along an upper facet, the piece was issued to commemorate the grand opening of the landmark hotel.Length: 4 inches; Width: 2.75 inches.
