A Tiffany & Co sterling silver crumber in Olympian pattern, the plain dolphin shape scoop with mask detail to heel, to the intricately decorated stem and hourglass shape terminal depicting a scene from classical mythology. Bottom stamped to reverse of stem, Tiffany & Co Sterling Pat.1878, alongside the letter M. Length 11.5" (29cm), weight 5.84 ozt (181.7 grams).
Condition Report:
- Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Some heavier scratches and contact marks visible to the dolphin shape section and some little nicks along the edge, causing it to feel a little rough.
- Some surface wear and rubbing to areas of the decoration with slight loss of detail or definition.
- Stamped marks are a little distorted but still legible.
