A Turner Pearlware Oval Meat Platter, circa 1825, printed in underglaze blue with rustic figures in landscape and with scattered sprigs within scroll moulded borders, impressed marks, 36.5cm wide; and A JFS & Co Pearlware Platter, circa 1830, printed in underglaze blue with the Eton College pattern, printed marks, 45cm wide (2)
Condition Report:
Eton College example with some crazing to the glazed section. Underside is heavily crazed and stained. Small example (Turner) with some slight staining. Various scratches to the glaze particularly around the blue and white landscape. Fault in the glaze? running through the trees above the building.
