Unwin and Rodgers knife pistol with original wood box. Made 1880's. German silver barrel with British proofs. No other visible markings. Smooth hammer with folding trigger. 2 folding knife blades, folding out towards the muzzle. Smooth horn grips with mold and patch box in the butt. Includes what looks to be an original wood case with eight lead balls, powder flask, and cap tin. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with wear and patina. Blades are sharp. Panels have handling marks and scratches. Bore has some light pitting. Mechanically operable. Case is delaminating on the outside, but is otherwise solid.
