The elaborately embellished brass pommel and guard with pierced U.S. among flowering vinework, the grip with sharkskin covering and twisted wire wrap intact. The curved, fullered blade marked TIFFANY & CO. NEW YORK in an banner at the right forte, and a finely-detailed American Eagle bearing a banner inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM to one side and U.S. in a scrolled cartouche to the other, together with an additional banner marlked, WARRANTED TO COT WROUGHT IRON above PDL in an oval cartouche for Luneschloss, and an E view mark.
