dating: 19th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, A pair of iron bazu-band, each composed of two plates, joined by two hinges and two pivots. Pierced front part for hand protection. Both plates engraved with cartouches with gold-inlaid Arabic inscriptions and floral motifs. Remains of lining inside. A pair of buturlik ribbed in the center, decorated en suite with bazu-band, recessed borders, decorated with golden floral motifs. One lined inside in the same way, the other without lining. Exposed on metallic bases. height 32 - 41 cm.
