A VICTORIAN SILVER PRIZE BOWL. by Martin, Hall & Co, Sheffield 1899, the main body of oval form with a beaded upper rim and open-work band of floral motifs, elaborately chased with floral designs and engraved with foliate scrolls, the verso of the main body features a cartouche engraved with The Arthur Reed Cup which is mimicked by a vacant cartouche on the verso, raised on a flared base with a beaded border supported by four pedestal feet with openwork curving scrollwork. 16.4cm high, 38.7 troy ounces
