A VIENNA STYLE PORCELAIN NEOCLASSICAL EWER, late 19th Century, of baluster form with a high gilt scroll handle, finely painted to both sides with two oval classical scenes signed ‘Wagner’ lower-right, both respectively titled ‘Amor’s Entwaffnung’ and ‘Sappho’ in red script to the base, one depicting respectively within elaborate raised gilt and coloured borders, on a claret ground, raised on a square plinth base with gilt foliate decoration on a pale green ground above a Greek Key border, 43cm high, beehive mark in underglaze blue
