A Victorian 10 carat gold propelling pencil, circa 1880 by Samson Mordan & Co reeded cylindrical form, the terminal with inset bloodstone (suspension loop severed and deficient). Marked with Mordan arrow mark for 10 ct gold only. Together with an Elizabeth II modern sterling silver ignot, Birmingham 1978, heightened with bright cut engraved decoration.
