A Victorian 14k gold black enamel diamond and Oriental pearl corsage brooch.
Black enamelled triangular design with cascading pendants, fully set with strips of very small rose-cut diamonds, the terminals with twelve prong-set, pear-cut diamonds (ca. 1.80 ct in total). Centrally set with a light grey bouton pearl (ca. 10.13 x 4.72 mm). Three pendants with fine grey oriental pearls on diamond-set cone settings (drilled central pearl in a slightly baroque droplet shape, ca. 13.81 x 10.15 x 12.33 mm, the flanking pearl droplets ca. 5.52 x 7.08 mm). Hallmarks: French import stamp "ET", 1864 - 1893. Minor wear and restorations to the enamel. H 5 cm. L. 7 cm. Weight 35.33 g.
