Y A Victorian Coromandel and gilt metal mounted writing table in Louis XVI style, last quarter 19th century, in the manner of Holland & Sons, one drawer stamped 'EDWARDS & ROBERTS', 75cm high, 114cm wide, 57cm deepBonhams sold a comparable Louis XVI style writing table attributed to Holland and Sons in their Fine English Furniture Sale, in New Bond Street on 3 March 2010, lot 160 and more recently a near identical table in The Christopher Hodsoll Collection, Knightsbridge, 19 October 2019, lot 227.It is known that Edward's & Roberts acted as both a dealer and manufacturer during the second half of the nineteenth century.
