in the classical manner, comprising teapot, hot water pot, sugar bowl and cream jug, bellied sides engraved with warriors in battle with chariots, the scenes derived from John Flaxman's illustrations for the Odyssey and the Iliad, on a lightly stippled ground among anthemions, handles with female mask junction, teapot cover with helmet final, the hot water pot modelled as a ewer, with engraved crested garter, pots with ivory insulators, weight 67.5oz.
