A Victorian Silver-Gilt Mounted and Turquoise-Set Glass Scent-Bottle cum Vinaigrette, by Thomas Johnson, London, 1867, tapering, the glass body applied with silver-gilt straps, the base with hinged cover to reveal a pierced grille, the hinged cover engraved with initials, the base dated '24th Oct'r 1868', set overall with turquoise cabochons, 10.5cm high

. Fully marked on base mount and on neck. Further part marked inside vinaigrette cover and grille. The hinged cover engraved inside with a crown beneath the glazed panel. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are two turquoise cabochons lacking on the silver-gilt straps.
