Fully marked underneath. The hinged back and handle each part marked. The marks in general are clear. Stamped on the back with retailers name. This is work and only just legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a crack to the enamel on either side of the dial. There is some cracking to the dial. The mechanism has not been tested to see if it functions properly. The item has the date letter 'U' as used in London 1895-96.
