A Victorian amethyst and half pearl brooch

A Victorian amethyst and half pearl brooch, circa 1870, the central oval cut amethyst within a surround of beaded half pearls, to a scrolled foliate engraved surround, later brooch fitting, 3.3cm long, 9.1g gross

The brooch pin is later base metal, with patching to the brooch under the later applied fittings, some lead solder visible around the side if the amethyst, visible to the front. Some light scratches and nibbles to the amethyst, but no major chips or cracks
