A Victorian diamond set brooch/pendant, c.1880,
with an old European cut diamond in a cut down collet to the centre. An open frame of old European cut diamonds in cut down collets to a frame of blade edge bar hearts and star points, set with trefoil clusters of old Swiss cut diamonds. A detachable bale set with four old Swiss cut diamonds, brooch fitting deficient. Tested as approximately silver backed in 9ct gold. 46 x 33mm, 10.11g
