A Victorian diamond set, five star tiara, c.1870-1880,
together with a Victorian diamond set star brooch/pendant, and a collection of alternative fittings, the tiara composed of a two row white metal frame with five detachable diamond set stars, the central three with a central cluster of European cut diamonds in cut down collets. The star points with rows of claw set and grain set old European cut, Swiss cut and rose cut diamonds, with blade edge bars between, all culminating in an old European cut diamond. The smallest outer two stars with diamond set radiating rays, to match the single star brooch pendant. All five stars with detachable brooch fittings and fold down or concealed bales, with assorted fittings to include three gilt metal en tremblant hair or fourcher fittings, three gilt metal hair fittings, one gold brooch fitting, two three-star bar brooch fittings.
