A Victorian gold Etruscan archaeological revival ram's head ...
A Victorian gold Etruscan archaeological revival ram's head hinged bangle, the hollow round section hoop with applied bead and wirework granulation and cross-over ram's heads, unmarked, XRF tested see condition report, 15.1g gross
More Information
Overall good condition for age, though the clasp-tongue appears to have been broken and a simple fold-over repair to allow the clasp to shut, this requires attention, otherwise no major dents or dings, would benefit from a thorough professional clean.
This item has been XRF spot tested as approximately 75%. We used a Nitron Thermo XL3T handheld XRF analyser to test the metal in this lot. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Results should only be used as a guide and with caution. False readings are possible as only a small 'spot' has been tested and not the whole item.
Note: We do not guarantee the standard of gold, silver, or platinum unless an item is hallmarked and no returns are accepted for XRF tested items, please examine any items for yourself and make your own mind up. Many thanks for your understanding John Rolfe Auctions.
