with an oval mixed cut amethyst, claw set in a plain collet to the centre. A rococo-style scrolling lozenge-shaped frame with clamshells at the compass points and flower heads to a textured ground, pin and 'C' catch. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 38 x 32mm, 10.00g approximately (excluding later safety chain)
