A Victorian gold garnet set hinged bangle, c.1860,
of graduated corset form. A centrepiece with a laced corset or bodice, with braided curb chain ties. An oval and pearl shaped cabochon garnet, rub set to each side, to a hand engraved foliate ground, with braided curb chain swag ties, with crocus pendant drops. A concealed box clasp to a plain lower half with safety chain. Tested as approximately 9ct gold. 28mm wide, interior dimensions 57 x 41mm, 17.69g
