A Victorian mahogany circular cased wall timepiece with eight day single fusee movement, the 10-inch dial applied with cut brass Roman hour numerals and gilt inscribed 'Crouch Worthing & Chichester' within a moulded surround with brass bezel and bevelled glass, the reverse applied with a brass 'Patent Applied For' plaque, diameter 38cm, with pendulum (minor alterations). Note: Thomas Henry Crouch is a recorded clockmaker working in South Street, Worthing, around 1870.
