A Victorian mahogany twin pedestal desk, circa 1870, the brown tooled leather inset top above the arrangement of drawers, 76cm high, 123cm wide, 78cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use,The top with old marks and stains to the inset, also knocks and gouges, The handles appear to be original, one is missing as can be seen in the catalogue image One drawer missing the blocks to hold it when returned - it recedes too far into the carcass, there are 2 such blocks present but loose to another drawerSome old chips, losses, and some apparent replacements to the moulded edges,The surface is quite 'dry' in appearance, it would benefit from a clean and polish Please refer to additional images for visual reference to conditionCondition Report Disclaimer
