A Victorian pine two-piece kitchen dresser, the upper section comprising a shelved rack with three open tiers, each featuring a central plate groove and decorative shaped scroll supports to the top and base, the shelves retaining several small metal cup hooks to the underside. The sideboard base is configured with three frieze drawers over two outer panelled cupboards, flanking a central open dog kennel alcove with a single decorative shaped shelf. The unit is constructed throughout from solid pine with vertical planked backboards and is fitted with turned pine mushroom-style knobs to the drawers and doors. The cupboard doors feature circular apertures where escutcheons were formerly seated. General surface abrasions, scuffs, and small indentations are present throughout, consistent with age and domestic use.
