A Victorian porcelain dessert service, 19th century, unmarked, each piece decorated to the well with a floral spray within gilt border, the rim of pink ground, comprising: a twin handled comport (AF), four circular tazza, 22.5cm diameter, four oval tazza, 28cm long, and eighteen dessert plates, 23cm diameter (lot)
The comport is at fault, broken at the stem and base, but can be restored. A dessert plate has been restored. General wear to gilding at rims, some loss of pigment to the pink ground, consistent with age.
