A Victorian seed pearl and gemstone graduated fringe necklace, c.1890,
with assorted gemstones to include smoky quartz, topaz, opal, emerald, sapphire, ruby and turquoise. Each faceted or cabochon gemstone, claw set in a fluted collet with a circular mixed cut white sapphire, claw set above. A fringe of three seed pearls suspended below each gemstone, and all strung to a seed pearl necklace with an oval barrel clasp and safety chain. Tested as approximately 18ct gold, clasp as 15ct gold. 370mm long, 21mm principal drop, 29.91g
