A Victorian silver pedestal sugar basket, of oval part fluted form with swing handle, hallmarked Birmingham 1884, makers mark T.W, length 6" (15cm). Together with a later pair of silver sugar tongs, hallmarked Birmingham 1922, makers mark worn and indistinct. Total weight 6.21 ozt (193.4 grams). (2).

Condition Report:
Sugar basket in good overall condition, some surface scratches and nicks throughout, and light tarnishing. Part hallmark to underside of base has cause slight impression mark to top side. Missing glass liner. Sugar tongs also with surface scratches, and some nicks, particularly to edges. Tongs slightly bent and out of line.
