A late Victorian silver strawberry dish, of flared circular form with gadroon style decoration to sides, hallmarked Vale Brothers & Sermon, Birmingham 1886, diameter 7.5" (19cm). Together with a small Edwardian silver swing handle dish with foliate pierced panels and raised on paw feet, hallmarked Francis Higgins III, London 1907, maximum length 6.25" (16cm). Weight 12.94 ozt (402.6 grams). (2).

Condition Report:
- Both displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and general use.
- Strawberry dish with some heavier tarnishing throughout.
- Also some deeper scratched marks and surface nicks and a few minor dints, seen to the centre and also the underside.
- Hallmarked to edge of base, rubbed but still legible.
- Edwardian dish appears in fairly good overall condition.
- Swing handle appears in good working order and is self-supporting.
- With a slight wobble on its feet.
- Hallmarks to base, clear and legible with light rubbing.
