A Victorian sterling silver mounted cut glass claret jug, Sheffield 1884 by by William and George Sissons the globular body with octagonal hobmail cut decoration, the cylindrical mount with beaded rims and fluted angular handle. The domed lid raised by a pierced thumbpiece. Together with another claret jug, Birmingham 1913 by John Grinsell & Sons, the globular body with hobnail cut panels and diamonds, with plain mount. (2) Height - 22 cm and 17 cm respectively
